There are the specialty card shops located in malls that will have an entire aisle dedicated to Mother's Day cards in the preceding four weeks leading up to the holiday. You can also get them at your local supermarket as many markets will have a section for Mother's Day cards. If you want an even wider selection then shop online. There are also online e-cards that you can email mom as well which you can get for free or pay a small fee and get a card with a short animation when she opens it.

Funny Cards
Consisting of a joke question or statement on the front of the card and then a punchline in the middle. These are great for moms who like humor.

Poems
There are Mother's Day cards with a small poem that written on the right inner panel. They can rhyme, follow a specific poetic pattern or have a special non-rhyming message. These are great for sentimental moms who want to know they are loved.
